mei already?kirovsky and blog updates

Other than the gynecology cycle tomorrow which, undoubtly will be as much of a headache as last time, this week I'll be helping out with the campaign for the funding of the kirovskiy masjid - some interviews, articles, the blog. It's a great opportunity for insyaAllah a continuos good deed.

to find out more about the kirovskiy masjid campaign, please click this link to the blog.

If you noticed, i've added some features on this blog, so that it'll be easier to read (bigger, clearer fonts, layout, brighter colours) and the newer posts will be only partly shown, to make it easier to browse, and lose some megabytes for you megabyte-conscious people, and also ease up on loading this page.
so please remember to click the READ MORE! button if you wish to - well, read more

Some other new, interesting features are the recent posts, and the picture slideshow, though only about the latest travel in egypt about 4 months ago. I guess I got a little bit excited tweaking up the template.

If anyone has any trouble loading this page, or a certain feature is eating up too much time or megabytes, please tell me. I'm also rather curious about how this page looks like in other computer browsers. To me it fits just nice, but for some it might look weird (too wide, or too big, with disproportionate side bars, text, headlines, etc.)i'm looking forward to improving this blog more, insyaAllah.

I've been thinking a lot about the future lately, and this blog's future. The past two years, i haven't updated this blog for months at times, and in the next two years, insyaAllah I'll be doing my housemanship. But the purpose of this blog is still the same, to connect me to anyone reading this, specifically family, friends, blogger friends and generally to anyone interested, no matter how long the interval between one post and the next. So for better or for worse, I will keep on blogging insyaAllah. Hopefully I can be one of those bloggers who are already working, with families of their own, who are still actively blogging and even inspiring others.
If possible, it'll be interesting, especially for other med students still learning next year, to know what I'll be doing after graduation and during housemanship. What are the chances of blogging as a HO in Malaysia? Maybe I should start a poll. Next time, hehe.

if you look at my timetable on the right, you'll see that there's not much time left. Some might wonder if I should even be blogging right now. But sometimes I'll do stuff like this to keep me off the pressure.

But I'll be needing support, and I seriously need to have more motivation and hopefully, reignite that 'passion' for learning medicine.
