for me it's a creative process-practice makes perfect. for friends and family-sometimes a generalised letter. for me,friends, family and others (even the monkey reading this statement right now..yes..dont look around wondering who and pretend that you're not)- another blog with this writer trying hard to entertain...

layan lagu mase nrp
geram aa
walaupun skor teori tinggi, tetap bodo,
takleh cemerlang kalau aim assessor nak failkan saje
takleh jadi instructor sebab doktor hospital tuaran bodo2 kan..antara hospital district hospital tuaran aa referral paling bangang. dah tu nak letak mana budak2 fitting tu?rumah kitorg ke?suruh balik rumah biar mak resuscitate? kalau dah dekat, MO tu tak yakin intubate, nape marah2?kan patient priority? And it's not even me. not even the current MOs punye citer..walaupun mungkin berulang, but do we have a choice?
That's life, unfair for some, a breeze for others. No wonder other doctors fight to stay where they are most comfortable.
Just being good enough wont cut it. Just keeping quiet gets you stepped on. Your small mistakes will be blown up, just because you're an outsider.
takpe2, passing NRP is a small step towards recognition. says the optimistic part of zyryx.
now let's layan JHMYY Michael buble!
takde maksud pape eh...sedap dengar je

Subuh
Tips Bangun Subuh..
Sebelum Tidur ( Fokusnya persiapan sebelum tidur)
Kita kena bersedia. Are You Ready?
4. Biasakan dirikan solat sunnat 2 rakaat – terpulanglah sama ada solat taubat, hajat atau apa pun. Jika saya, kebiasaannya solat sunat taubat. Aggaplah ia sebagai stesen muhasabah diri sebelum melelapkan mata.
5. Jika mampu, tutupkan malam anda dengan membaca Al-Quran. Biasanya selalu kita lihat ramai yang melazimi surah Al-Mulk sebelum tidur. InsyaAllah, kita juga boleh lakukannya.
I don't need to say anything. I'm too ashamed to add anything

Doa
tgh stres sikit. tgh cool down. senang sikit sebab duduk sorg
sambil2 tu layan dengar lagu ni
yg kering dan hampa tanpa kasih
atas kuasaMu ku terlahir
dan hanya padaMu ku kembali
*courtesy of LirikLaguIndonesia.net
dalam tanganMu ku pasrahkan
jalan panjang hidupku yg kan ku tempuh
hanya padaMu ku memohon
dan hanya padaMu ku bersujud
reff: tunjukkan aku menuju jalan lurusmu
agar aku dapat wujudkan tobatku
terangi aku dalam gelapnya duniaku
agar aku bisa dapatkan ridhaMu
Ya Allah Ya Robbi
Ya Rahman Ya Rochim
repeat reff [2x]
Ya Allah Ya Robbi
Ya Rahman Ya Rochim

I'm old, but am I ready?I thought I was, but maybe I wasn't. When? Let fate decide.InsyaAllah...I'll try to be the wise and patient man I need to be for my future family, if I am ever given the chance for such a burden.

Insya Allah
Masya Allah..one of the most beautiful songs today.
Every one has their troubles, their own trials and tribulations. This song truly heals in a way.
Insha Allah Lyrics | Inshallah Lyrics
By: Maher ZainEverytime you feel like you cannot go on
You feel so lost
That your so alone
All you is see is night
And darkness all around
You feel so helpless
You can’t see which way to go
Don’t despair and never loose hope
Cause Allah is always by your side
Insha Allah x3
Insya Allah you’ll find your way
Everytime you commit one more mistake
You feel you can’t repent
And that its way too late
Your’re so confused, wrong decisions you have made
Haunt your mind and your heart is full of shame
Don’t despair and never loose hope
Cause Allah is always by your side
Insha Allah x3
Insya Allah you’ll find your way
Insha Allah x3
Insya Allah you’ll find your way
Turn to Allah
He’s never far away
Put your trust in Him
Raise your hands and pray
OOO Ya Allah
Guide my steps don’t let me go astray
You’re the only one that showed me the way,
Showed me the way x2
Insyaallah x3
Insya Allah we’ll find the way

zul is bored
Time alone is the best time,
Probably because I'm an introvert, something I have come to embrace fully, Alhamdulillah.
Unfortunately it doesn't mean I can live alone. Being stuck without friends to hang out with is a bummer, and really depressing. I still need people.
This is the first time I've really been living alone. Usually I had housemates, or was living with my parents, like everyone else. My last housemate advised me against this, but at that time, it was the most easy and obvious answer to living here.
Now I spend as much time alone as I want. In fact, I'm spending too much time alone, which sometimes drive me nuts.

embracing my self..not another weird cult. And this picture is not me trying a weird cult in Russia, just so you know |

Andai Ku Tahu
I temporarily stopped blogging due to some distractions...
I've been soul searching, again. But finding out more doesn't necessarily produce answers. More often, more questions arise.
I thought I found something important, but I ended up more confused, as always.
Cryptic, eh?

I... inquisitions Part II
Part TWO of the Inquisition,
Dude: strangely enough, none of my juniors asked anything specific..a general question will get a general answer
Nerd:
I'd be lying if i say i didn't deflate just tiny a bit reading through your answer. It's really nothing new. I've heard most of it before (although u provided me with more detail than i ever managed to dig out of anyone else)...
*bla bla bla bla bla
As we go deeper into the dark path of HOship, the Inquisitor starts to break down. Looking up from the torture chamber, a bloody eyeball falling out, the Dude continues on

I... inquisitions
A new friend asked me some things a lot of my juniors asked, but either I never had the time, I was lazy, or they never asked the right questions. I was asked to share the information, so here it is.. with minor alterations, because I'm lazy
For my undergraduate juniors,

Zyryx:
ok im back but i got kinda lost.
What do you wanna know actually?
I can speculate..probably by the time you got here evaluations will be the norm for every new dr..unfortunately for you, but maybe for the better. although it would be weird for a relatively poor med system like malaysia to suddenly evaluate the universities overseas which are definitely in higher standards according to the world, which they initially recognised..im a bit tired
Nerd:
Haha. I didn't expect an answer straight away, dude. Go catch ur breath.
And yes i've heard about the exam thingy tho i'm not overly worried about it. I mean really, whats 5 yrs worth of overseas education if i cant pass one back home (confidence much?? Hehe)
Anyway, What i really want to know is the working conditions, the hours, the on-calls u're expected to do per month, the assessments, the criteria to which hospital u're sent to (as u might imagine, i'd prefer to be close to home) etc etc
and maybe, if after all that u find urself still willing to divulge me with classified info, the wage (a rough guesstimate will do).
Thanks in advance :)
P/s: i understand u're a busy man (as i imagine all docs are), so take ur time to answer (if u want to answer at all that is). I'm in no rush.
Dude:
umm..about the exams..maybe the first few batches will find it a problem, and the new universities without seniors. But only initially. No one really has the time to make new questions for an extra exam previously not needed anyway, IMHO.
Assessment is difficult for me to tell about. I suspect it falls on the specialist supervising. Some do drastic stuff like making sudden spot checks on log books (typically left to the last minute to fill- you dont have much time with your work anyway) and automatically (cruelly) extend another 3 months of your life in that particular department. The worse part is rumours tend to be considered true and getting extended indirectly because of that happens too. Please dont be one of those who do that. The knowledge part is mostly clinical...they want to know if you can actually make a proper assessment, diagnosis and management plan of the most common conditions, at least.

Housemanship's biggest secrets, finally revealed..

The last lecture, and achieving your dreams
I had a really bad call last night,
A baby died in front of my eyes, another old patient died next to her, and I had such difficult cases, most had to be sent within the hour to Queen for further management impossible in my hospital, and needed constant doctor supervision/escort..up until this morning.
Motivation and inspiration is important to keep yourself sane in moments like these so I watched "The last lecture" by the late Randy Pausch.. I watched a shortened version a few years ago (I think it was on oprah)
His "last lecture" was so good, he was listed by Times Magazines in the "100 most inpirational people" list
read more if you want the the complete version

In search of happyness
Here are some of many ways to search for one's happiness..
1. some look around them
2. a few look inside themselves
3. some groups creates their own aims, and obtain happiness either by achieving their goals, or on the way there
4. others go to far exotic lands, where the different cultures makes it almost fairy tale like
